Welcome to PJL Music

Hi Viewers! My name is Phil Richardson and this is my site. I've been playing guitar since the early eighties and have been a lead guitarist in three heavy metal bands spanning a period of about 10 years between 1985 and 1995.

Since then I have started composing my own tracks and am now also teaching and recording others as a business. I founded PJL Music in 2003 and have now added web design to my business portfolio. Although I'm prepared to record just about anything I prefer to teach and compose music that is anything from soft rock to heavy metal.

Equipment used on my recordings are a Boss BR1180cd (Portable studio) and an Ibanez Gem Guitar. When I play live I use a Boss GT6 Multi effects unit.
